Southampton’s DusanTadic is furious with the head coach of the Serbian national football team, Radovan Curcic who decided to drop him from the upcoming friendly games of Serbia as they have to play against Estonia and Russia.
DusanTadic is a regular starter for the Premier League club Southampton and the Serbian player believes that being able to consistently perform in the top tier English league should be more than enough for him to snatch a spot in the starting lineup of the Serbian national football team
Southampton’s DusanTadic is furious with the head coach of the Serbian national football team, Radovan Curcic who decided to drop him from the upcoming friendly games of Serbia as they have to play against Estonia and Russia.
DusanTadic is a regular starter for the Premier League club Southampton and the Serbian player believes that being able to consistently perform in the top tier English league should be more than enough for him to snatch a spot in the starting lineup of the Serbian national football team
The 27 year old Serbian midfielder stated that he felt humiliated and disrespected after not being included in the squad that was announced by the head coach Radovan Curcic and the player of Southampton also said that he will not play for the Serbian national football team if Radovan Curcic continues being in charge of the national squad.
‘’I play in the world’s strongest league and then I find out in the newspapers that I am no longer good enough to play for the national team. Someone could have at least called me and told me over the phone. ‘This is humiliating and disrespectful; hence I will no longer play for Serbia while Curcic is in charge.
‘’I don’t think Curcic is up to the task. I’d like to be more positive but a coach who has not been in charge of a top team aiming for titles does not have the potential, the authority or the knowledge to lead a national team to victories…but I wish him and the team all the best.’’ This was the statement released by DusanTadic as he voiced his frustration in relation to not being called up by Curcic.
In the entire playing career of DusanTadic, he has managed to make 35 appearances for the Serbian national football team and from the looks of it, he won’t be making any further performances for Serbia anytime soon.
